FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Indiana Tech men's basketball team fell to Lourdes University, 74-65, Wednesday evening inside the Schaefer Center.

Josh Kline added 16 points and five rebounds.
Cory McKinney and
Steve Helm each added 11 points with the former contributing five rebounds and four assists.
Grant Smith grabbed 11 rebounds to go along with four assists.
The two teams battled back and forth throughout the first half with neither side gaining more than a five-point lead over the first 13 minutes of the game. A free throw from
Blake Davison started a 7-0 run for Tech that was coupled with a 4:17 scoring drought from the Gray Wolves to put the hosts up 28-22. While Lourdes snapped the drought at the 5:03 mark, the Warriors came right back with a bucket from Stein to start an 11-0 run to push the lead to 39-24 with 1:50 to play in the half. The visitors had another four-minute plus scoring drought but ended the half on a 7-0 run to cut the deficit to 39-31 at the end of the period.
Tech continued to hold the advantage early on in the second half, leading 49-39 at the 14:57 mark following a triple from McKinney, but the combination of Joey Holifield and McRay White, who combined for 45 points, went on an 8-0 run that included momentum swinging putback dunk from the latter to bring the Gray Wolves within a point and force the Warriors to take a timeout. Stein snapped the run with a bucket but Holifield responded with a bucket to start an 11-0 run that put Lourdes ahead 58-50 with 8:44 to play. The Gray Wolves grew the lead to as many as 13 points and while a 7-0 run from Tech cut the deficit to 66-60 with 3:40 to go and a timeout by Lourdes, the Warriors were unable to get any closer as they suffered their first home loss of the season.
Tech (3-4, 1-2 WHAC) returns to action Saturday as they travel to Rochester. Tip-off is set for 3 p.m. from Garth Pleasant Arena.
