Box Score PERRYSBURG, Ohio – Women's tennis falls to Bowling Green State 6-1 on the road.
Isidora Hrnjak and
Abigail Simms paired up to compete at the number one spot for doubles and scored three points before Bowling Green took over and won the match 6-3.
Vero Jimenez and
Marianna Murcia had tough competition at the number two position and fell 6-0 while
Carolina Fabbri and
Thaina Carvalho partnered up at the number three and came up short 6-4.
Jimenez then went on to compete at the number one spot against Marharita Tavpash and fell 6-1 and 6-2.
Simms was at the number two against Yulia Kapitanova and lost the first set 6-1 and fought hard in the second set but came up short 6-4. At the number three
Martina Borges fell 6-1 and 6-1 whileÂ
Murcia at the four came up short 6-2 and 6-0.
Carvalho competed at the number five and fell 6-1 and 6-1 while
Ana Gomez had a tough match at the number six.
Gomez fell in the first set 6-2 and bounced back to win the second set 7-5 and the third 10-8 for the only win of the day for the Warriors.
The Warriors are back in action on Friday, March 5
th when they host Olivet Nazarene at 1 p.m.
