FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The No. 2-ranked Indiana Tech men's lacrosse team lost to No. 1-ranked Reinhardt University 11-10 Wednesday afternoon at Warrior Athletic Field.
 
How It Happened

• The Eagles drew first blood but the Warriors held a 3-2 lead after the first quarter. Tech scored with 20 seconds left in the second quarter to take a 7-4 lead into the locker room.
• Reinhardt found their offense in the third with five goals, including four over the first six minutes of the quarter to tie the game up at 8-8.
• The Warriors pulled back even at 9-9 and 10-10 in the fourth with goals from Andrew Ryan, but the Eagles scored with 2:36 left in the game to eek out the hard-fought win.

• Ryan had a game-high four goals while Jordan Reyes, Sam Anderson and Jaxon Koehl all had four ground balls.
• Joe Steigmeyer had nine saves in the loss.

 
Tech (5-1) returns to action on Saturday, March 20 as they open up Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) action against Lawrence Technological University. Opening faceoff is set for 7 p.m. from the Detroit County Day Field House.
