FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The No. 2-ranked Indiana Tech men's lacrosse team defeated Lourdes University 6-4 Saturday afternoon inside Warrior Athletic Field.
 
How It Happened

• The first quarter featured a 14-2 shot advantage for the Warriors, but they couldn't get onto the scoreboard until the four-minute mark when Nate Langille found the back of the cage, while Khanan Bodley made it a 2-0 game three minutes later.
• Tech continued to hold serve in the second quarter with a 2-1 goal advantage to take a 4-1 lead into the locker room.
• Lourdes found some momentum in the third and fourth as they cut the deficit to 4-3, but the Orange and Black responded with two goals in under a minute from Louis Czech and Bodley to make it a 6-3 game to secure the win.

• Andrew Ryan picked up seven ground balls to go along with one goal while Sam Anderson caused three turnovers. Jordan Reyes, Tom Piotrowski and Jonah Jarmus each had two CTs.
• Evan Schuster made six saves in the cage to keep his record perfect.

 
Tech (8-1, 3-0 WHAC) returns to action Wednesday as they host Taylor University. Opening face-off is set for 7:30 p.m. from Warrior Athletic Field.
