ADDISON, Ill. – The Indiana Tech men's bowling team kicked off USBC postseason play Friday with sectional qualifying for the Intercollegiate Singles Championships at Stardust Bowl.
Senior
Cory Hersha became the third individual (
Keen Ching,
Marcus McClain) in program history to qualify for the ISC National Championships with a second-place finish in the sectional field, rolling a 1,304 over six games (177-210-176-246-249-246) and finishing just one pin out of first place.
Jakob Bowden took eight with a 1,246 and was two spots out of qualifying (top six from four sites) while
Jacob Balser was 37
th with a 1,149.
Tech continues play at the USBC Sectionals with the start of qualifying for the Intercollegiate Team Championships Saturday and concludes Sunday at Stardust Bowl.
