ADDISON, Ill. – The Indiana Tech men's bowling team kicked off USBC postseason play Friday with sectional qualifying for the Intercollegiate Singles Championships at Stardust Bowl.
 
Senior Cory Hersha became the third individual (Keen Ching, Marcus McClain) in program history to qualify for the ISC National Championships with a second-place finish in the sectional field, rolling a 1,304 over six games (177-210-176-246-249-246) and finishing just one pin out of first place.
 
Jakob Bowden took eight with a 1,246 and was two spots out of qualifying (top six from four sites) while Jacob Balser was 37^th with a 1,149.
 
Tech continues play at the USBC Sectionals with the start of qualifying for the Intercollegiate Team Championships Saturday and concludes Sunday at Stardust Bowl.
