Women's Tennis Seeded 18 at First NAIA National Championship

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Women's tennis earns the #18 seed in their first NAIA National Championship bid after winning the WHAC Championship for the first time in program history.

The Warriors earned the #18 seed in the NAIA Women's Tennis National Championship with a 17-2 season record. Tech was most recently ranked at #21 while Vero Jimenez was ranked 50th in singles nationally and 10th regionally. Marianna Murcia was also ranked regionally at 15th in singles while both Jimenez and Murcia paired up for a ranking of 23rd in doubles nationally and 8th regionally.

Tech is set to face the #15 seed University of the Cumberlands in Mobile, Alabama on Tuesday May 18th at 8:30 a.m. in the first round of the NAIA Nationals.
