KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Women's tennis earns the #18 seed in their first NAIA National Championship bid after winning the WHAC Championship for the first time in program history.
The Warriors earned the #18 seed in the NAIA Women's Tennis National Championship with a 17-2 season record. Tech was most recently ranked at #21 while
Vero Jimenez was ranked 50
th in singles nationally and 10
th regionally.
Marianna Murcia was also ranked regionally at 15
th in singles while both
Jimenez and
Murcia paired up for a ranking of 23
rd in doubles nationally and 8
th regionally.
Tech is set to face the #15 seed University of the Cumberlands in Mobile, Alabama on Tuesday May 18
th at 8:30 a.m. in the first round of the NAIA Nationals.
