Box Score SAVANNAH, Ga. – The No. 2-ranked Indiana Tech men's lacrosse team defeated No. 8-ranked Benedictine College 11-8 Thursday evening in the quarterfinals of the 2021 NAIA National Invitational at Memorial Stadium.
How It Happened
- The Ravens struck first just 52 seconds into the game and scored twice in the first five minutes of the second quarter to take a 4-2 lead.
- Nate Langille made it a 4-3 game with 9:17 to play in the second and sparked a 4-0 run over the next six minutes to put the Warriors ahead 6-4, while Louis Czech made it a 7-5 game at the half as he scored with just 12 seconds left in the period.
- Tech came out the locker room to dominate the third quarter with a 4-1 advantage on the scoreboard, scoring all four goals in the first six minutes of the quarter.
- The Warriors did not allow a shot on goal over the final 3:50 of the game as they beat the Ravens for the second time this season.
