FORT WAYNE, Ind. – Men's Lacrosse marksman
Cam Fewster has been named the Warrior of the Month for April, the Indiana Tech Athletic Department announced.
The Calgary, Alberta native turned it up in April to help fuel the Warriors on a big postseason run and into the national tournament. Tech would pick up six wins in April including wins over Lawrence Tech and #3 ranked Aquinas during the WHAC Tournament to make it to the championship game. Fewster led the Warriors in all major offensive stat categories with 62 points, 28 goals, and 34 assists in ten games. His biggest game came in a 24-8 blowout victory against (RV) Taylor on April 8
th, recording career highs in points (14) and assists (9). He would also add 28 ground balls and six caused turnovers in the month of April and was named the Indiana Tech Men's Athlete of the Year at the 2025-26 Student Athlete Awards on April 27
th. The junior was also named to the WHAC All-Conference First Team and currently leads the country with 121 points on the season. Overall, the Warriors are 12-8 this season and will enter the NAIA National Tournament as the #7 seed, playing #2 seed Keiser on Tuesday, May 12
th in Decatur, Alabama.
Fewster joins Kristin Matlack, Liam Arthur, Bronwyn Nel, Jonathan Kervin, Jaxson Fugate, Taylor Covington, and Savannah Bravo as Warriors of the Month in 2025-26, wrapping up another incredible year in Tech athletics. Each month during the academic year, the Indiana Tech Athletic Department honors one athlete that has excelled in their sport and in the classroom while displaying "Warrior Pride" throughout the month.
