FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Indiana Tech women's soccer team returned to the win column Saturday afternoon at Warrior Athletic Field as they defeated Bethel University in overtime, 2-1.
Dani Blagojevic was the hero of the day as the redshirt senior made her season debut and scored in the 92nd minute to give the Warriors the win over the Pilots. Bethel took the early lead in the 37th minute, but
Ifeoma Onyemelukwe knotted the match up in the 68th minute with her first goal of the season.
Michaela Bitle made two saves in the win while Onyemelukwe had two shots on goal for Tech.
Tech (3-2-0) returns to action Wednesday as they travel to Goshen College. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. from the GC Soccer Complex.
