GOSHEN, Ind. – The Indiana Tech women's soccer team recorded their second straight overtime win Wednesday evening with a 2-1 victory over Goshen College at the Goshen College Soccer Complex.
 
Alina Garcia was the hero of the match as she netted her first career goal in the 92^nd minute for the only score of the night. The Warriors put pressure on the Maple Leafs right off the bat with six shots, including two on goal and one that hit the crossbar, in the first 15 minutes of the game. Tech held a 10-7 advantage in shots at the end of the first, but the hosts would reserve that stat in the second half, including three that found their way on goal in the final 15 minutes of regulation.
 
Michaela Bitle made nine saves in the goal to improve to 4-1 on the season.
 
Tech (4-2-0) returns to action Saturday as they host Taylor University in their final nonconference match of the fall. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. from Warrior Athletic Field.
