BECKLEY, W.Va. - The No. 11-ranked Indiana Tech men's soccer team defeated West Virginia Tech, 2-0, Saturday afternoon at Paul Cline Stadium.
The Warriors got off to a quick start, with Angel De Jorge scoring in just the third minute of action (assisted by
Lucca Motta), his first goal of the season, to put the visitors up 1-0. There wasn't much scoring action after that until late in the 86th minute when
Lucca Motta sealed the deal with a strike that found the back of the net to make it 2-0, his second goal of the season.Â
Jaume Salvado made one save in the victory.Â
Tech (6-1-0) will have the week off until Saturday, where they will be back on the road again to take on University of Michigan-Dearborn to open up WHAC play. Kickoff is set for 3pm at Fordson High School.Â
