FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Indiana Tech women's soccer team fell to No. 15-ranked Grace College, 2-0, Wednesday evening at Warrior Athletic Field.
The Warriors kept pace with the Lancers through the first 45 minutes, but two goals by the visitors in a 41-second span in the 56th minute proved to the difference as Grace pulled ahead in a flash. Tech had three shots to get on the board in the final 20 minutes but were unable to beat Bethany Blackwood in the Lancer net.
Michaela Bitle made eight saves in the loss.
Tech (2-2-0) returns to action Saturday as they host Bethel University in a nonconference matchup. Kickoff is set for 12 p.m. from Warrior Athletic Field.
