WASHINGTON, Mich. – The men's soccer team took on Rochester University on the road for a WHAC match-up. Tech found the net four times in the 4-1 win over the host Rochester, improving to 3-0 in conference play.
Rochester broke through first, finding their lone goal 17 minutes into the contest from Dmitar Stankovic. The lead was short-lived, with Tech's
Lucca Motta scoring an unassisted goal in the 26
th minute of the first half to even the score 1-1, which was the score at the halftime whistle. Tech found the net three times after the break.
Felix Jung scored in the 66
th minute assisted by
Brendan Sidaway. Shortly after
Brendan Sidaway added his name to the goal column finding the net with an assist from
Jaume Castells Mas.
Jaume Castells Mas kept the trend going finding the net after an assist when he scored in the 89
th minute with an assist from
Jonas Kahlmann. The Warriors recorded twenty-three shots in the game to Rochesters four. Juame Salvado recorded two saves in the win.
Tech is back in action Wednesday, hosting the Racers from UNOH. Tech is 5-9-1 in the series winning five of the last six contests. Their most recent game was a 3-0 win on November 13, 2021.
