SOUTHFIELD, Mich. – The women's volleyball team traveled to Southfield, Michigan, Friday evening for a matchup against the Blue Devils of Lawrence Tech University. The Warriors claimed a 3-1 win on the night with 25-13, 21-25, 25-20, and 25-17 finals of the sets. The win over Lawrence Tech improves the Warriors to 19-1 with a 7-1 record in the conference.
 
The Warriors recorded fifty-four kills, eleven aces, six blocks, fifty-two assists, and sixty-eight digs in their four sets. Noelle VanOort, recording fourteen kills, led the Warrior attack, Jacqueline Allaway had eleven, and Taylor Paul had nine. Madison Mayes served up five aces, VanOort recorded four and Jacey Blust had one. Amelia Shultz led the team with five blocks, Andrea Schriver recorded twenty-four assists, and Blust added nineteen digs.
 
The Warriors return to action Saturday when they take on Rochester on the road. They are 9-0 in the series with the most recent result a 3-1 win on October 23, 2021.
