SYLVANIA, Ohio – Tech traveled to Sylvania, Ohio, to take on the Grey Wolves of Lourdes University in a WHAC matchup. One second-half goal a piece was all the scoring, with the final being 1-1. Today's result moves Tech to 7-1-4 and 5-0-1 in the WHAC.
 
There was little to separate the teams before the break, as the half ended with a 0-0 score line. Lourdes recorded six first-half shots while the Warriors took two. Juame Salvado saved the two Lourdes shots that found the target in the first half.
 
The Warriors looked more assertive in the second half firing ten shots to the Gray Wolves' six. Tech opened the scoring when Lucca Motta dribbled through the Gray Wolf defense in the box before finding the back of the net to set the Warriors in front in the 59^th minute. Lourdes leveled from the penalty spot in the 70^th minute when Leon Eisert sent one down the middle past Salvado diving to his left. Both teams took twelve shots in the contest, while Salvado recorded six saves.
 
Tech continues its season on the road with a 1 o'clock start Saturday, October 15, when they take on Siena Heights University. Tech is on a nine-game win streak over the Saints, winning 6-0 in their last matchup on October 9, 2021.
