Women’s Soccer Draw 0-0 at UNOH

LIMA, Ohio – The tech women's soccer traveled to Lima, Ohio, Wednesday afternoon to take on the Racers of the University of Northwestern Ohio. The Warriors headed home, earning one point in the 0-0 draw.
 
The first half favored the University of Northwestern Ohio Racers in shots. They recorded eight, while the Warriors recorded three. The Racers had five shots on target, while the Warriors had two. The Warrior's best chance on goal was a shot from Danielle Dunn that took an awkward bounce forcing the Racer keeper to adjust back to her left to make the save. Michaela Bitle recorded five saves in the first half, and the most crucial save was a diving save down to her left.
 
The Warriors recorded three more shots in the second half, with another two finding the target. The Racers upped their shot total in the second half, adding fourteen more with seven on frame. Shot totals for the game were 6-22 in favor of the Racers. Michaela Bitle played all ninety minutes in the net, recording twelve saves to earn the shutout.
 
The Warrior's next contest is against Cornerstone University Saturday, October 8th, at home. Tech is 8-13-2 in the game, with a 2-1 win in their most recent meeting, October 16, 2021.
