GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Indiana Tech women's volleyball team took on the Saints of Siena Heights University in the WHAC tournament semi-final Friday night hosted by Cornerstone University. Tech has fallen at the hands of the Saints twice this year but turned things around in their third meeting, winning 3-1. After losing set one with a 21-25 score, the Warriors stormed back, winning the next three with scores of 25-21, 25-16, and 25-20.
 
Tech posted an attack percentage of .138 on the night while recording 48 kills as a team. Noelle VanOort led the Warriors with 12 kills, 1 service ace, and 18 digs. Emma Westra recorded 11 kills in the match, and Taylor Paul posted 7 kills and 4.0 blocks. Kelsey Schaldenbrand served up 3 aces, while Madison Mayes delivered 1. Havilyn Cummings was above the net to post 5.0 blocks on the night. Andrea Schriver led the team in assists with 21, and Jacey Blust had a team-high 24 digs.
 
With the win over the Saints, Tech will now play in the WHAC championship, which takes place tomorrow, November 12, at 1 PM, hosted by Cornerstone. They will face the winner of the other semi-final between Cornerstone and Madonna.
