LIVONIA, Mich. – The Indiana Tech men's basketball team was in Livonia, Michigan, Saturday as they took on Madonna University in their second WHAC contest of the young campaign. After trailing at the half by two, Tech outscored the Crusaders by 15 in the second half to win with an 84-71 final score.
Blake Davison led the Warriors in scoring with a game-high 23 points, going 8-13 from the field, knocking down 3 three-point shots on 5 attempts. He also grabbed 5 rebounds and added 1 assist.
Cory McKinney scored 12 points on 5-6 shooting, dishing out a team-high 6 assists.
Josh Kline and
Steve Helm scored 10 points apiece while grabbing team-high 6 rebounds.
Rog Stein recorded 11 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists in the win. Tech shot 53.0% from the field and went 5-16 from the three-point line.
Tech retakes the court on November 16 when they take on the University of Saint Francis (Ind.). The game will be at the Hutzell Athletic Center on the campus of Saint Francis. The Warriors are 8-14 in the series with Saint Francis, falling in their last meeting with a 78-84 final.
