FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The No. 8 ranked Indiana Tech men's hockey team took on WHAC opponent Rochester University in a two-game series over the weekend. Game one of the series was in Fort Wayne, where Tech took down Rochester with a 12-0 final score. Game two of the series was in Fraser, Michigan, where the Orange and Black defeated Rochester 11-0 to improve their record to 14-2 on the season and 11-1 in conference play.
The Orange and Black took it to Rochester in game one, scoring twelve goals to win 12-0. Avery Smith led the Warriors in scoring, netting three for a hat trick. Other Warriors finding the net were

Tech scored five goals in the first period to help lift them past Rochester with an 11-0 final score.

The Warriors retake the ice on December 2, when they travel to Calvin University in Grand Rapids, Michigan, for a two-game series. Both contests will be played on the road, with puck drop set for 7:30 PM Friday and 4:30 PM Saturday. Tech is 4-0 against the Knights, winning the most recent meeting 3-1.
