ROCHESTER HILLS, Mich. – The No. 14 ranked Indiana Tech men's basketball team traveled to Rochester Hills, Michigan, to take on Rochester University in a Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference matchup Saturday. Tech fell short on the road losing with a 64-71 final score, moving their record to 10-2 and 6-1 in the conference.
Grant Smith led all scorers with 20 points while adding 5 rebounds and 3 assists to his total.
Josh Kline was one rebound short of a double-double scoring 16 points and grabbing a team-high 9 rebounds.
Max Perez contributed 10 points off the bench for Tech knocking down 2 threes on three 3 attempts. Tech shot 44.8% as a team and went 8-14 from the free-throw line.
The Warriors head to Florida for a two-game trip against Florida Memorial University on Saturday, December 17, and Keiser University on December 18. This will be Tech's first matchup with both teams.
