DEARBORN, Mich. – The No. 15 Ranked Indiana Tech Warriors defeated Wolverine Hoosier Athletic Conference competitor, UM-Dearborn, on the road in Dearborn, Michigan, Saturday afternoon with an 89-68 final. The Warriors got off to a quick start due to a Kyra Whitaker 3-pointer and continued to lead from there, never trailing the Wolverines.
 
The Warriors were dominant in their transitional play involving many players in the scoring for the victory. Tech cashed in on 21 points off Dearborn's turnovers and outshot the Wolverines in the paint. The Warriors tallied nine steals and shot 65% from the free-throw line and 61% from the field. Whitaker tallied 26 points, leading all scoring for the Warriors. Genevieve Decker scored 17 points and contributed 5 rebounds to the win. Taylor Covington also had 6 assists and 10 points in the win, and Burris dominated the boards out rebounding all other Tech teammates with 6. Erika Foy finished in double digits scoring 13 points.
 
Indiana Tech improves to 10-2 overall and 5-1 in the conference. The Warriors will continue on the road for their next four match-ups. The Warriors will be back in action on December 10th to face off with Rochester University for another WHAC match-up. The tip-off is set for 1 PM Saturday.
