SYLVANIA, Ohio - The Indiana Tech men's basketball team won their eleventh consecutive game last night, as they defeated the Lourdes Gray Wolves by a final score of 80-69.
Grant Smith had a game-high 24 points on 7-14 shooting, knocking down three triples, grabbing four rebounds, and earning two steals.
Rog Stein had a nice night as well, dropping 14 points and grabbing seven rebounds to go along with three assists and a block.
Josh Kline nearly had his fourth triple-double on the season, scoring 12 points and grabbing nine rebounds.
Steve Helm had nine points, including two triples, four assists, and three boards.
Cory McKinney did a little bit of everything, scoring five points, six rebounds, three assists, one block and one steal.
Max Perez came in off the bench and had nine points, including shooting 7-7 from the charity stripe.Â
Despite the Warriors losing the battle in the paint (30-32), they shot the ball well enough (51.8% FG, 42.9% 3P) and held the Gray Wolves to just 37.7% shooting, which helped them earn the double-digit victory.Â
The Warriors improve to 23-6 on the season, 17-2 in WHAC play. They'll close out the regular season this Saturday, as they travel to Southfield, Michigan to take on the Blue Devils of Lawrence Tech (12-12, 9-9 WHAC). Tip-off is set for 3:00 PM.Â
