Warriors Win at Lawrence Tech for 12th Straight

Southfield, Mich. - The Indiana Tech men's basketball team won their 12th consecutive contest on Saturday afternoon, defeating the Lawrence Tech Blue Devils by a final score of 79-73.

Grant Smith scored a game-high 20 points to go along with seven rebounds and an assist. Cory McKinney scored 17 points, grabbed six boards, and picked the Blue Devils off three times. Josh Kline had a very nice game as well, notching fifteen points along with six rebounds, an assist, and a steal. The Warriors shot an efficient 50% from the floor and absolutely dominated LTU inside, out-scoring the Blue Devils in the paint, 42-16. Tech also dominated the rebounding battle, winning that matchup 39-22, good for 15 second-chance points.

Indiana Tech finished out the regular season with a record of 24-6, going 18-2 in WHAC play, winning the league and earning them the #1 seed in this week's conference tournament. They'll take on the #8 seed UNOH Racers (11-18, 8-12 WHAC) in the first round of action on Wednesday night at the Schaefer Center. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:00 PM.
