MARYLAND HEIGHTS, Mo. - The #11 seeded Indiana Tech men's ice hockey team fell to the #6 seeded Central Oklahoma Bronchos in the first round of ACHA Nationals in Maryland Heights, Missouri this past weekend, putting an end to a fantastic season.
After a scoreless first two periods, the Bronchos finally ended the drought, but the Warriors'
Cam Chabot would respond just two minutes later off the assist from
Malik Ali. The contest would head to overtime, where Central Oklahoma would score 1:44 in.
Ty Barnhill made 24 saves on the day.Â
The Warriors (26-7) season didn't end how many would like, but the Orange and Black achieved a great amount of success during the year. The program achieved a winning percentage of above 70% for the fourth consecutive year en route to winning the WHAC Regular Season and Tournament Championships for the second year in a row.
