WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - The Indiana Tech softball team fell to the Keiser University Seahawks on Wednesday afternoon, 4-1 at Alumni Field.
The Warriors started off strong, with
Emma Kelley bringing home
Meagan Barton in the first inning on a fielder's choice. Unfortunately, that'd be the only time the Orange and Black would cross home plate, as the Seahawks would score in the first, third, fourth, and fifth innings. Barton,
Micaela Iacovetti,
Meghan Berlin, and
Bella Brock each recorded hits, with Barton tripling, and Berlin/Brock doubling. The Warrior pitching trio of
Hannah Middlebrooks,
Shaelin Bruner, and
Jaden Romero struck out four Seahawk batters in the contest.
Indiana Tech (4-11) will continue their Florida stretch as they'll take on St. Thomas today at 1 and 3 PM.
