OSKALOSSA, Iowa – The No. 7-ranked Indiana Tech men's lacrosse team won its third straight game Saturday afternoon against No. 8-ranked William Penn University, winning 10-1 at Statesmen Community Stadium.
Louis Czech had a game-high four goals while
Samuel Bodley had three goals and an assist to match Czech's team-best four points.
Kyle TwoBulls made eight saves in the cage to pick up the win.
It took to the 4:40 mark for the Warriors to get on the board as Czech scored on the assist from Bodley, with Bodley scoring at the 1:39 mark of the first and the 6:38 mark of the second to put Tech up 3-0. Czech made it a 4-0 game at the half with his second goal just 22 seconds before the horn. The Orange and Black exploded for four goals in the third and didn't allow the hosts to score until the 2:53 mark of the fourth quarter as they limited the Statemen to just nine shots on goal and just 23 total shots.
Tech (3-1) continues its road trip Saturday with a trip to No. 4-ranked University of the Cumberlands. Opening face-off is set for 7 p.m. from the UC Soccer/Lacrosse Complex.
