SOUTHFIELD, Mich. – The Indiana Tech women's lacrosse team fell to No. 1-ranked Lawrence Tech, 11-3, Saturday afternoon at Blue Devils Stadium.

Abby Barkdull and
Faith Donally all tallied goals in the setback while Barkdull added an assist, Buhr collected three ground balls and three caused turnovers and Donally had three ground balls, three draw controls and three caused turnovers.
Sydney Oberdorfer had a career-high 17 saves in the loss.
Buhr put the Warriors ahead with the first goal of the game at the 11:10 mark of the first, but the Blue Devils held a 2-1 lead at the end of the quarter with goals at the 6:38 and 1:49 mark. Donally tied the game up at 2-2 with her 32
nd goal of the year at the 11:35 mark, but a 4-0 run over the next 20 minutes put the Blue Devils up 6-2 with 7:27 to go in the third quarter. LTU held the Warriors to just three shots on goal in the middle periods as their defense tightened up.
Barkdull cut the deficit down to 6-3 with 6:27 left in the third, but the Blue Devils would not allow another goal for the rest of the game and tacked on four more goals in the fourth to seal the win.
Tech (5-5, 4-3 WHAC) returns to action Wednesday as they host Lourdes University. Opening draw is set for 1 p.m. from Warrior Athletic Field.
