MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- The Indiana Tech women's soccer team came away from Morey Field with a hard-fought 0-0 draw versus Bethel University on Saturday evening.
Michaela Bitle starred with five saves in goal for the Warriors.
"This was a physical battle and our goalkeeper (Bitle) made some critical saves. With some players out, we had others take on new roles and they adjusted well over 90 minutes," head coach
Andrea Gorton noted. "We created some chances in the second by playing with more confidence."
Indiana Tech hopes to keep its momentum from two-straight shutouts as it prepares for a Sept. 14th non-conference match versus Taylor University in Upland, Ind. Tech is 1-7 in the all-time series with the Trojans, the last win coming in 2008. TU won 2-0 in Ft. Wayne in 2021.
