SYLVANIA, Ohio – Indiana Tech women's volleyball team traveled to Sylvania, Ohio, to complete their three-game road stretch at Lourdes University, taking on the Gray Wolves. The Warriors beat the Gray Wolves in three straight sets to complete the 3-0 sweep 25-20, 25-17, and 25-22. The result tonight moves the Warriors to 17-0 on the season and 5-0 against WHAC opponents.
Tech posted a .290 attacking percentage as a team for the match while recording 54 kills.
Noelle VanOort led the Warriors with fourteen kills,
Taylor Paul had thirteen, and
Taylor Sorg with nine.
Kelsey Schaldenbrand,
Jacey Blust, and
Noelle VanOort all recorded an ace for the Warriors tonight.
Jacqueline Allaway had 3.0 blocks.
Kelsey Schaldenbrand recorded twenty-two team-high assists, followed by
Andrea Schriver, who had sixteen.
Jacey Blust led the defensive effort with twenty digs.
The Warriors take the court next Friday night at the Schaefer Center, hosting the Golden Eagles of Cornerstone University (Mich.). The matchup occurs between the two teams sitting at the top of the WHAC. Tech dropped the last matchup 0-3 on November 12, 2021. The Warriors look to take down a top 25 team to continue their perfect season.
