FORT WAYNE, Ind. – Playing under the lights the Warriors host the Cardinals of Concordia University Wednesday night at Warrior Athletic Field. The Warriors were able to control the game and walk away with a 2-0 win.
The Warriors saw a lot of the ball in the first half but were outshot by the Cardinals 4-6. Even with less shots Tech was able to find the net first. In the 28

Jordan Brown-Mundey found
Danielle Dunn inside the left edge of the penalty box, Dunn was able to slot the ball across the face of the goal and find
Kate Wallace who buried it in the net.
Tech more control in the second half firing eight shots while only allowing the Cardinals to record three. Tech found the net again in the 84
th minute, this time from the penalty spot. Rebecca Delgado was taken down in the box drawing a penalty. She then stepped up to the spot and put one past the keeper to increase the lead to 2-0.
Michaela Bitle played all ninety minutes in net posting five saves to earn the shutout.
After their three-game home stretch the Warriors hit the road for their next match. Traveling to Rochester Hills, Michigan to take on Rochester University on October 1. Tech leads the series 12-1-1 sitting on a four-game win streak. Most recently Tech won 5-1 on October 23, 2021.
