SYLVANIA, Ohio – The No. 14 ranked Indiana Tech women's basketball team traveled to Sylvania, Ohio, on Wednesday night for a Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference matchup with the Lourdes University Gray Wolves. Tech proved too much for the Gray Wolves as they ran away with an 84-41 victory. The Warriors improve to 15-3 for the season while moving to 9-1 in the conference.
 
Kyra Whitaker led Tech in scoring with 23 points while adding 3 rebounds and 2 assists. Erika Foy recorded another double-double, scoring 20 points on 8-11 shooting and grabbing 15 rebounds while also dishing out 4 assists. Taylor Covington knocked down a couple of threes on her way to scoring 12 points and contributing 4 assists. Genevieve Decker posted 10 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists as her stat line. Bethany Worm led the Warriors in assists with 6. Tech knocked down 33 shots on 57 attempts, shooting 40% from the three-point line and 76.9% from the charity stripe.
 
Madonna University comes to town to take on the Warriors on Saturday, January 14, with the game set to start at 1 PM. Last time out against the Crusaders, the Orange and Black brought home a 78-36 win on November 12, 2022.
