FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The No. 11 ranked Indiana Tech men's basketball team hosted the RV Madonna University Crusaders on Saturday afternoon for a WHAC showdown. Tech trailed the first ten minutes of the game, but after a few lead changes at the midway point of the first half, Tech stretched the lead and took an eleven-point cushion into the break. Tech led the whole second half, not letting their lead drop below seven points to end the game with a 72-63 victory. The Orange and Black move to 16-3 for the season and 9-2 in conference play.
Max Perez led Tech in scoring with 12 points off the bench, going 4-5 from beyond the three-point line. Perez grabbed 2 rebounds and contributed 1 assist to round out his stat line.
Josh Kline recorded 11 points and 2 rebounds, while Grant smith added 9 points, a team-high 8 rebounds, and a team-high 5 assists.

Cory McKinney, and
Blake Davison all scored 8 points apiece. Stein added 7 rebounds and 4 assists, McKinney grabbed 2 boards and recorded 1 assist, and Davison added 2 and 2. Tech shot 47.5 % from the field in the win.
The Warriors return to action on January 21 as they host Lawrence Tech set to start at 3 PM. The last meeting ended in favor of the Warriors with a 75-60 final score on November 19, 2022.
