Erika Foy led all scorers with 20 points and was supported by 16 points from sophomore
Genevieve Decker to lead the Warriors to a 74-46 rout of visiting Lawrence Tech Saturday. Foy completed her double-double with a game-high 15 rebounds, while dishing five assists, blocking two shots, and collecting two steals. The win sees Tech improve to 17-3 on the campaign and maintain its grip on the WHAC standings with an 11-1 league mark.
The Warriors outscored LTU 20-13 in the first quarter and distanced themselves with a 19-7 second to lead 39-20 at the break. The Warriors maintained a 20-point cushion for the duration, stretching the final margin to 28 with under a minute to play.
Bethany Worm also reached double digits with 10 points and flirted with a double-double of her own, hauling in eight boards. Kendall Fisher led the Blue Devils with 16 points.
The Orange and Black go back on the road Wednesday for a 5:30 PM clash with the Cornerstone Golden Eagles in Grand Rapids, Mich. The Warriors handled CU 112-74 at the Schaefer Center on November 30, 2022, and look for their 10th-straight win in the series.
