OSKALOOSA, Iowa -- Indiana Tech opened its fourth season of men's volleyball with a 3-1 loss at William Penn University on Thursday. WPU took sets one and two 26-24 and 25-22, before closing out the win with a 25-21 set four triumph, after the Warriors earned a 25-19 win in set three.
Dante Stewart led the Orange & Black with 10 kills on the night, while
Brandon Jones dished 27 assists in the first of three-straight matches in the Hawkeye State to open 2023.Â
The Statesmen saw three players reach double digit kills, led by Ike Papes, with a match-high 17.Â
Tech continues its road trip with a neutral site match against Graceland University in Des Moines on Friday.Â
