FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Indiana Tech men's basketball team hosted the Cardinals of Concordia University in the Schaefer Center on Saturday afternoon. Tech came out on top, winning with a 77-71 final score. Tech moves to 15-2 on the season while holding an 8-1 record in conference play.
The Warriors shot 51.7% on the day hitting the 80% mark at the charity stripe while going 5-12 from beyond the three-point line.
Blake Davison led the scoring for Tech with 13 points while adding 1 rebound and 1 assist to his stat line.
Cory McKinney and
Grant Smith both contributed 12 points in the win while McKinney grabbed 6 rebounds, and added 4 assists and 2 steals, as Smith pulled down 5 boards with 4 assists and 2 blocks.
Rog Stein led everyone with a game-high 9 rebounds, adding 8 points and 2 assists.
Max Perez was a spark off the bench for the Orange and Black recording 12 points on 4-6 shooting as he added 2 rebounds and 2 assists.
The Warriors are back in action on Wednesday night as they travel to Sylvania, Ohio, to take on Lourdes University. Tech dropped the last meeting between the two schools with a 79-89 final score.
