FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Indiana Tech women's basketball team played host to the Concordia University Cardinals on Saturday afternoon in the Schaefer Center, where the Warriors took the win with a 60-34 final score. Tech improves their record to 14-3 for the season and 8-1 in WHAC contests.
Tech shot 43.8% from the field and 57.1% from the free-throw line while knocking down 6 threes on 15 attempts.
Kyra Whitaker led the Warriors in scoring with 17 points on 6-15 shooting while grabbing 6 rebounds and 2 assists.
Juliana Burris recorded 9 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 assists.
Erika Foy posted 8 points, a team-high 12 rebounds, and dished out 3 assists.
Genevieve Decker scored 10 points for the Orange and Black off the bench while grabbing 4 boards and recording 2 assists in the win.
Tech takes the floor on Wednesday night in Sylvania, Ohio, as they take on the Lourdes University Gray Wolves in a Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference showdown. The Warriors lead the series 22-1, winning the last meeting 63-48 on February 7, 2022.
