GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Indiana Tech women's soccer team traveled to Grand Rapids, Michigan Saturday afternoon for a contest against Cornerstone University, a game that saw the Warriors fall 3-0.
It was another tough game for the Warriors who have now failed to score in all five WHAC games this season. Tech would trail 2-0 at the half, but would play better in the second 45, equaling Cornerstone with five shots each. Senior defender,
Danielle Dunn led the Orange & Black with three shots in the game. The Golden Eagles would add a third goal 12 minutes into the second half to put a stamp on their 3-0 win over the Warriors.
Michaela Bitle would make seven saves in goal for the Warriors.
The Warriors now fall to 0-4-1 in WHAC play and 2-8-1 overall. Tech will travel to Sylvania, Ohio on Wednesday, October 11
th to play Lourdes University at 7:00pm.
