FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Indiana Tech women's hockey team took on Davenport University in a two-game series over the weekend. It was a dominant series for the Orange and Black as they found the net 21 times to take 8-1 and 13-1 wins.
On Friday, Tech was in Grand Rapids, Michigan, for game one of the series, in which they displayed a dominant performance, starting quickly by scoring four first-period goals. Davenport also found the net for their lone goal in the opening period. Finding the net for Tech was

On Saturday, Tech was back home at the SportONE/Parkview Icehouse, where they scored early and often with 5 goals in the first period, 3 in the second period, and 5 in the third period. Davenport found the net for their lone goal in the third period.
Genessie Williams and
Allison Greene scored hat tricks, while
Caylee Crowson scored twice,
Hailey Hudder scored twice, and
Reilly Crowson,
Avery Johnson, and
Arina Jusczak scored once. Julia Gross played all 60 minutes between the sticks for the Warriors again, recording 8 saves.
Tech is back in action on Friday as they travel to Lansing, Michigan, to face Michigan State University in the first of their two-game series. The puck drop is set for 7:05 p.m.
