ADRIAN, Mich. – The Indiana Tech women's basketball team hit the road on Saturday evening to open their conference schedule at Siena Heights University in Adrian, Michigan. The Warriors took care of business, outscoring the Saints in the first three quarters on their way to a 48-41 win. Tech improves to 3-1 on the season and starts their conference campaign 1-0.

The Saints started quickly jumping to an 8-2 lead in the opening minute and a half of the first quarter, but the Warriors responded with a 7-0 run to take a 9-8 lead and held a 16-13 lead at the end of the first. Out of the break, the Warriors stretched their 3-point advantage to a 10-point lead off a jumper from Erika Foy with 7 minutes left in the second quarter. Tech went on a short 2-and-a-half-minute scoring drought, which allowed the Saints to narrow the gap to 2 points, but Tech took a 4-point lead into the halftime break. Tech scored 13 points in the third quarter while holding the Saints to 10 to extend their lead even further headed into the final quarter. The fourth quarter was an evenly matched contest as the two teams both scored 8 points in the low-scoring affair, as the Orange and Black claimed their first conference game 48-41.
