FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Indiana Tech men's volleyball team hosted Aquinas College in the Schaefer Center on Saturday afternoon. In a toughly battled contest, the Saints outlasted the Warriors to take a 3-2 win back to Grand Rapids. Tech moves to 4-5 for the season and 3-1 in WHAC play.
 
After dropping a close first set 29-27, the Warriors opened set two with a 6-0 run and jumped to an early 10-3 lead before closing the set with a 25-17 win. The Warriors picked up another win in set three with a final score of 25-23 before they dropped two closely contested sets with scores of 22-25 and 14-16.
 
Mason Milan led the attack for the Orange and Black putting down 20 of the Warriors' 68 kills on the afternoon. Tech racked up 60 assists in the match, with Brandon Jones leading the charge recording 53 in the five sets. Mario Capo led the Warriors in service aces with 2. Jon Fonda lived above the net defensively with 5.0 blocks. Joey Hermes recorded his 1000^th career dig in set two of the match and ended the afternoon with 25.
 
Tech hits the road for a three-game stretch traveling to Chicago, Illinois, to take on Saint Xavier University and Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College in Saint Mary's, Indiana, during that time.
