FORT WAYNE, Ind. -- #7 Indiana Tech's 20-game winning streak came to an end Friday night, losing 5-0 to #23 UM-Dearborn in the first of two back-to-back games against the Wolverines. This marks the first time the Warriors have been shut out this season and is only their third loss of the season. On Saturday night, the Warriors got back to their winning ways with a 4-0 shutout over the Wolverines to split the series at one apiece. Indiana Tech moves to 29-3 on the season and 20-2 in the WHAC, while UM-Dearborn moves to 16-11-2 overall and 15-6-1 in the WHAC.

Despite the loss in game one, the Warriors outshot the Wolverines 34-22 but could not manage to get one past the Wolverine netminder Kayden Pickles. Alex Carrothers and Cam Chabot led the way for the Warriors with four shots a piece. Braedyn Funke picked up the loss for the Warriors, making six saves in net, while Ty Barnhill made 11 saves in relief.

In game two of the series, Indiana Tech posted their eighth shutout of the season, with Ty Barnhill making 25 saves on 25 shots. The Warriors had four different goal-scorers in the win.
