Foy Hits 1,500 Points While Indiana Tech control Michigan-Dearborn

FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Indiana Tech Warriors ran over the University of Michigan-Dearborn Wolverines in the first three quarters to guarantee a win of 73-46 on Wednesday night in the Schaefer Center.

The Warriors started the night celebrating Erika Foy's 1,500 career points, and she reciprocated it on the court, adding one more double-double to the records, her 12th double-double of the season, with 14 points and 14 rebounds. Her 14 points tonight brings her career total to 1,525 and counting.

The team followed Foy's rhythm and did not give a chance to the Wolverines. The Warriors won the first two quarters and built an 18-point lead, reaching halftime with a 41-23 partial win.

At the beginning of the second half, the team kept pace to increase the advantage on the scoreboard. At the end of the third quarter, the Warriors fans in the Schaefer Center were gifted with a beautiful play. Kyra Whitaker finished the period with a Half court buzzer beater shot to nail a 28-point advantage to the scoreboard.
With 62-34 on the scoreboard, the Warriors controlled the pace in the last quarter and finished the game with a 73-46 win.
