FORT WAYNE, Ind. – the No. 6 ranked Indiana Tech men's basketball team beat Lourdes University 90-79 in the Schaefer Center on Saturday in a game dedicated to honoring seniors

With the spotlight already on seniors, their performances lived up to it. Kline scored 21 points and grabbed 4 rebounds, shooting 83% from the field and averaging 1 point per minute in his 21 minutes of action. Stein added 10 points and 7 rebounds, shooting 50% from the field. McKinney scored 10 points and grabbed 5 rebounds shooting 50% from the field. Lehrman added 10 points and 5 rebounds, shooting 60% from the field, while Smith scored 8 points and got 2 rebounds and 3 assists.
In the game between the 2022/23 WHAC (Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference) regular season champions and the runners-up, the champions left the court with the win in a close game that had Indiana Tech being stronger in the paint outscoring the opponent 52-36, while Lourdes fired back from the 3-point line scoring 24 points from the long-range, against 12 from the Warriors.
Now, both teams focus on the WHAC Tournament. Tech and Lourdes will host their first-round matchups as they finished first and second in the conference.
