FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Indiana Tech women's basketball team ran over Lourdes in the first round to advance to the WHAC semifinals. The Warriors beat Lourdes University 85-52 in the Schaefer Center on Wednesday night to guarantee a spot in the tournament's semifinal.
The 33-point win was built on a dominant trio that Indiana Tech had on the court.

Erika Foy, and
Taylor Covington ran the show and combined for 56 points in the Warrior's win.
Decker scored 21 points and grabbed 5 rebounds, shooting 75% from the field. Foy scored 19 points and grabbed 7 rebounds shooting 90% from the field, and Covington scored 16 points (9 from the 3-point line), shooting 50% from the field.
The Warriors, who had just beaten Lourdes five days ago (February 18) in the last game of the conference regular season 81-66, repeated the dose. Winning every quarter and with emphasis on an overwhelming second quarter that Indiana Tech outscored Lourdes 22-4, the Warriors built an early advantage in the game and continued at a comfortable pace to move forward in the competition.
In the semifinals, the No.1 seed, Indiana Tech, will face Cornerstone, the No.5 seed. The game is scheduled for Saturday, February 25, in the Schaefer Center in Fort Wayne. The game is set to tip off at 5:30 PM.
