ANGOLA, Ind. – The Indiana Tech men's volleyball team traveled to Angola, Indiana, on Tuesday night to take on the Thunder of Trine University in Hershey Hall. In three sets that were back and forth, Trine outlasted the Warriors, winning 3-0 with scores of 25-23, 25-20, and 25-20. Techs record goes to 9-7 on the season and 8-1 within conference competitions.
Tech recorded 35 team kills, with
Daynte Stewart leading the team with 11. Stewart and
Dante Siracusa both served 1 of the Warrior's 2 service aces.
Jon Fonda led the team in blocks recording 2, while
Joey Hermes added 14 digs to his stat line. Freshman
Nolan Bosley led the Warriors in assists Tuesday night with 28.
Next, the Warriors host a pair of games with Mount Vernon Nazarene University (Ohio), with game one being played Friday night at 7 PM and game two on Saturday at 3 PM.
