The Warriors (28-2, 19-1 WHAC) grounded the Cardinals 3-1 Friday evening at home, before taking a 5-2 decision on the road Saturday night.
Cam Chabot stayed hot with two goals Saturday while
Luke Anderson was the offensive star Friday, netting twice.
Braedyn Funke was between the pipes in Friday's win, making 29 stops, with
Ty Barnhill turning away 22 Cardinal efforts in the win Saturday.Â
The Warriors have two remaining WHAC series in the regular season, with the upcoming back-to-back against Michigan Dearborn Feb. 10-11 a matchup between the only champions the conference has known in its now six-year history. UMD and Tech each have two regular-season crowns, with Tech holding a 3-2 lead over the Wolverines in WHAC tournament titles.Â
