Men’s Lax Clips Ravens in Blowout Win

FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The No. 2 ranked Indiana Tech men's lacrosse team went up against receiving votes Benedictine College on Thursday evening, rolling to a 17-6 blowout victory over the visiting Ravens.
 
The Warriors caught fire early, scoring five times in the first quarter, thanks to two goals in less than a minute from Devin Macomber. Benedictine was struggling offensively and defensively, even scoring an own goal late in the second quarter as the Warriors would take a 7-2 lead into the half. Things did not get much better for the Ravens as Indiana Tech was flying miles ahead, scoring nine goals in the fourth quarter alone. Emmett Coleman led the way in the fourth for the Warriors, outscoring Benedictine by himself, 4-3. Coleman would also add an assist in the quarter to end the day with six total points, on four goals and two assists, with seven ground balls. Nate Langille also shined for the Warriors, scoring five times and assisting twice to end the night with seven points, while also picking up two ground balls. Josh Bramley would add three goals and an assist to Tech's totals, while Kyle TwoBulls picked up the win for the Warriors, making seven saves and grabbing three ground balls.
 
Next up for the Warriors is a top five matchup with No. 4 ranked University of the Cumberlands (Ky.) on Tuesday, March 14th at 5 PM.
