FORT WAYNE, Ind. – On Friday, Indiana Tech men's lacrosse team defeated RV Ottawa University (Kan.) 15-2 in a lopsided victory.
The No. 2 ranked Warriors have scored double digit goals in all six victories this season, as the poured in 15 goals against the Braves on Friday afternoon.
Josh Bramley got the scoring started for the Warriors on an assist by
Grant Seaman.
Emmett Coleman and
Aran Heath also scored for Tech as they led 3-0. Ottawa would answer with a goal to end the quarter and opened the second with another to make it 3-2. However, that would be it for the Braves as they would go scoreless for the final 44 minutes of play. Tech would end the game on a 12-0 run. Coleman would score again in the second quarter, with Bramley scoring two more times in the game to finish with three goals and an assist.
Nate Langille led the Warriors offense with six points from three goals and three assists in the game. On the defensive side, the Warriors locked down Ottawa, giving up just ten shots on goal and only two goals.
Kyle TwoBulls made some big saves in the game for the Warriors, finishing with eight.
Tristan McKneely led Indiana Tech with seven ground balls, while
Sebastien Guillaume led the Warriors with five caused turnovers.
Tech now sits at 6-2 on the season as they enter conference play with their first matchup coming against Concordia University (Mich.) on Saturday, March 25
th at 4 pm at Warrior Athletic Field.
