Women’s Lax Cruises Past Pilots

FORT WAYNE, Ind. – On Wednesday, the Warriors hosted Bethel University, cruising past the Pilots 19-8.

Indiana Tech scored the first four goals of the game and never looked back, leading the entire game. The 19 goals scored for the Warriors is their highest of the season so far, as nine different Warriors picked up at least one point in the win. Leading the Warriors was Halli Reinhard and Faith Donally who each recorded seven points on the day. Reinhard led the Warriors on the scoresheet with six goals and an assist, while Donally scored four times and had a team high three assists. Cece Mason, Brooke Buhr, and Abbey Wilson also contributed to the Warriors success with four points each. Donally and Wilson led the orange and black with eight ground balls each, while Reinhard and Da'zah Regusters led the team in draw controls. Wilson also led the Warriors with six caused turnovers, while Kalisha Gilmore caused five Pilot turnovers. Sydney Oberdorfer made six saves in the win, her fourth of the year.

Up next for the Warriors is an away game against Marian University (Ind.) on Saturday, April 1st at 11 am.
