ADRIAN, Mich. – On Wednesday, the Indiana Tech women's lacrosse team traveled to Adrian, Michigan for a conference matchup with the Siena Heights University Saints. Tech would take control of the game in the second quarter and go on to win the contest 18-8 for their fourth straight win. The Warriors now move to fourth in the WHAC standings at 5-3 in conference play. Tech is 8-4 overall this season.
Da'zah Regusters got the scoring started for the Warriors less than four minutes into the game. She would finish the day with three goals, three ground balls, two draw controls, and one caused turnover. With the score tied at two midway through the first quarter,
Faith Donally would score the first of four straight goals to give the Warriors a 6-2 advantage. Donally would tally two more goals later in the game to end with her, team leading, six on the day. Tech would score six straight goals to end the half leading 12-3, with
Halli Reinhard picking up three of her four goals in the game during that span. The Warriors cruised through the second half and went on to win the game 18-8.
Brooke Buhr scored a hat-trick for the Warriors while
Abbey Wilson led the team with four draw controls, while also picking up two goals and two assists.
Sydney Oberdorfer earned the win for the orange and black, making five saves.
Indiana Tech will wrap up the regular season with senior day on Saturday, April 15
th at 1 pm against Madonna University (Mich.).
